Chatfield Homecoming

Shannon went to Chatfield's homecoming dance on Sept. 26th with some friends.

This is at her friend Nicole's house, where she got ready. I'm glad Nicole's parents were nice enough to take pictures for me!

Shannon and Nicole. Nicole is on the softball team with Shannon and is one of her best friends.

Aren't they cute? :)

Awana Trip to the Corn Maze

Here are some pictures I took Tuesday night when Kylie and I went to the corn maze with the Awana group:

I think the corn maze is at one location of Denver Botanical Gardens. There sure are some pretty leaves right now.

This is the barrel ride. The kids get into a train of these little barrels and a tractor pulls them around.

We got to go on a hayride too. This is another hay wagon that was headed in the opposite direction of ours.

Another picture of a tree I took from the haywagon. The leaves are gorgeous. I think we're going to go up into the mountains this weekend for some picture-taking.

Kylie on our haywagon. I just realized that there aren't any other people in any of my pictures. There were lots of people there, I promise. There's some kid's foot in a red shoe to Kylie's left.

What a goofball.

Kylie and I getting lost in the corn maze. She kept running ahead of me and I kept yelling at her to stay with me. I was afraid if I lost her I'd never find her again. That maze was HUGE.

We never actually did find the exit, but we did find our way back to the entrance, so at least we got out!

Kylie had fun. It was a great deal, for $5 we got the hayride, barrel ride, corn maze, and there was also a miniature corn maze that kids could run through. Kylie did that one by herself. We also got either a pulled pork dinner or a hotdog dinner. Not a bad deal for $5!
